		<description>If you use a huge amount (say 5-10GB) of your free space (disk) to returnil than it becomes harder and longer to defrag your specified disk where you put the box of returnil. I don't know about sandboxie (didn't tested it yet) but it looks like more lightweights...

Yes ... and no . As said both Returnil and Sandboxie have different assets .
Sandboxie  looks more flexible but it leaves some (small) open doors to a virus  .
You must always empty ( delete content ) the sandbox after terminating your operation .
The premium edition - allowing multiple sandboxies - is perfect .
Still : " Sandboxie can install most applications into the sandbox, but not system software. "
... While Returnil virtualizes everything . You activate it and leave your kids  ( or a guest ) doing whatever they  want on your computer . 
All traces or dangers will disappear when rebooting .
Amazing tools for slightly different tasks .
