Impressed by your honest concern. You can find ConceptDraw MindMap On Life Hacker a website having tons of readers everyday. And that’s just an example. You can go on every major tech blog with a freebies section and ask your questions. 4 Free is too small for that.
Or better ask the software developers why they keep active their 1-2 years outdated promotions. Maybe you’ll understand that keeps them on the market.
Otherwise the Internet practice is very simple : the links are removed at a simple official notification. We’ll soon have an official 4 Free own promotion for an Odessa product ( Yep! Good news guys !)

Oh man , is CNet.com Downloads slow !
About this software about a 8 months ago they gave away program called ConceptDraw Webwave. From the screen shots it looks close to the same program. ConceptDraw Webwave was a very good program for charts and has many icons,graphics.ect.
I would give ConceptDraw Webwave 9 out 10 until I used this ConceptDraw PRO .
Now compared with this latest version Webwave get 5 out 10 and ConceptDraw PRO get the 9 out 10 .

Downloaded in about 5 minutes and registered ok. This is great software that i have used in the past for initial database concept design and also for network design, however i also use visio due to the availability of third party stencils, anyway thanks guys this will be a keeper.

Hi friends,just finished trying out this baby :).First I must mention that it’s not the kind of tool i use every day,but it’s a beauty nevertheless.I like mostly it’s friendly interface,and speed(it loads quite quickly despite it’s size,faster than other programs i know within this category).To cut it short,it is a very useful program if you want to show off with your ideas in style,but it will mostly help a bit more technically oriented people to conceive and organize their sketches or scientific plans.Needless to say it’s packed with lots of features and nice graphics,that are fairly straightforward to use,even for beginners(like myself
) In experienced hands,it can turn almost any idea into gold

I have used concept draw before. It is great software. (did not use it much). Lost it do to a reformat. Advise anyone if you have space to get it. Well worth the time to install. There is alot that can be accomplished with this. Glade to see it available, and will be using it again.

What an awesome program!
Downloaded, installed and registered no problem.
After installing you are taken to a Learning Center web page for the program.
It also has a Getting Started tutorial under Help.
Program opens to a template selection screen - just select the kind of diagram you want to work with and it loads the available symbols.
All you have to do is drag and drop and connect things together.
From building plans to flow charting to software and web design, this software rocks!

1/ First of all, what an incredible giveaway! Geez!
Odessa software are absolutely outstanding as far as I can know.
2/ Actually, I don’t think I have use for this. I have visio 2007 installed on my computer and I’ve never used it… I played with it but never used it for real.
I have no time to read long tutorials and these programs are obviously over-sized for just drawing a mere scheme. Actually, I don’t well understand the differences between mindmap and conceptdraw pro…
3/ Odessa software used to be localized. For this kind of complex programs I prefer them being in French.
The only version of concept draw pro I found in French is 6 and the serial - of course - won’t work with this version.
That’s why, should I need once in a year such a program, I think I would give visio a go… (I got the French version!)
4/ That being said, conceptdraw pro seems to me more user friendly than visio and more convenient to use.
Should I ever buy a mindmapping program, I should prefer Odessa software products over visio I guess, not even speaking about the price…

Not sure how Franc is doing it, but there’s certainly an easy way to get serial: if this is not legit, why is still working ? It’s legit until further notice. Right now I have activated my personal Vista and XP machines, this is an awesome piece of software.
P.S. Serial works with Concepdraw Pro 7.5 and you might as well DL from VersionTracker, lots of bandwidth there (unlike Cnet). Cheers and thanks !

ConceptDraw MindMap 5 is not at all an older version of ConceptDraw Pro 7 !
Unfortunately you have missed a much more powerfull tool that MindMap 5 . Keep in touch with 4 Free ; you never know when another hot find occurs !
