Many of you should have noticed the Free Paragon Software Special Editions article on Ghacks. What can we say ? Wow ! In fact two “wows”:
1. “Wow ! We have talked about these promotions longtime ago.”
Not infatuation, just glad to be among the best ones in this freebies field. It helps us a lot for our future plans.
2. “Wow ! We’re honoured to be among websites like Gizmo, Raymond, Ghacks, LifeHacker - talking about this kind of software promotions. “
Ok ! So Martin from GHacks.net published an article about the Paragon portfolio of free promotion. We are really happy and we congratulate him for spreading the word about free software for everybody, on his impressive site !
Martin’s list has 6 products. There is one freeware Paragon Rescue Kit and 5 special promotions - the exact promotions we have revealed during the last few month:
* Paragon Total Defrag 2009 Special Edition
* Paragon Partition Manager 9.0 Special Edition
* Paragon Drive Copy 9 Special Edition
* Paragon Drive Backup 9.0 Personal SE
* Paragon Hard Disk Manager 8.5 Special Edition
So the new item on the list is Paragon Rescue Kit 9,0 Express. Of course we have all received the e-mail from Paragon talking about this free product. The lack of time prevented us looking better to this software but logically it should be a high quality one, since it is about BACKUP and PARTITION . This are domains where Paragon excels, at least this is our opinion! We were also impressed by the complex Boot Corrector.
“Paragon Rescue Kit professionally fixes boot problems as well as retrieves your data when your system fails to boot. It even rescues deleted partitions. All, you need to do to achieve complete control over any situation is burn the software on your CD/DVD!.”

Yes, I have seen adverts of this prog lately on internet, and very good reviews too but inspite of my being a great fan of Paragon software I made up my mind not to download and try it this time because I have already made a couple of rescue bootable CDs by using another program but for those who did not it is a highly recommended download.

Hi Paps !
Oh! I think my comment was not a good one. Sorry.
Hi ! Everybody’s welcome to talk about the software from the post. There are many sick attempts to spamm our comments section. Maybe you’ll agree that concise comments about softwares is what everybody needs.
Thank you!
Hi guys!
I already got it and I strongly reccomend it.
Have a nice evening !

Thanks Bashir!
Wow. Another great piece of software from Paragon. The boot cd that comes with this will become very handy. No more using the recovery console from a windows boot cd to fix MBR issues.
Just in time too. Since i just removed Ubuntu from my dualboot. I can use this to get rid of the grub loader that ubuntu installs.

Ah, another article to make my day. I was looking at this software on the website the other day after reading the ghacks article, but could not figure out what it does exactly and I was not able to find out the difference between free and pro versions. Maybe I had been too tired. This article has helped me out a lot. :). You read my mind from across the oceans! :):):)

Hi mayur! Yes if you want updates and technical support. It’s the “price” you have to pay.
Regards!
sorry in the first line its “buy” and not “bye” (ha ha ha)!
This is a handy product alright, but i tend to use Barts PE as you can get tools to do the same thing and add many more besides, granted you do need some knowledge on building the disk and adding modules, but there is a big community willing to help and plenty of tutorials. Another alternative is the UBCD for Windows, this is pre-built and based on Barts PE, just need to burn the ISO to a CD.

Hi Jeff ! Good resolution!
GREAT FIND!
I’m using Paragon Drive Backup 9.0 Personal SE that I got from here. I use it backup my system, but don’t have a chance to test if it works well or not since my system is still runing well. Comparing with Macrium Reflect FREE Edition and True Image, Paragon Drive Backup runs a little bit slow, but based on other users experience, Paragon Drive Backup is much more reliable.

Hi Wei!
I love Paragon products, so I’ll definetely grab this one.
Anyhow, if Paragon developers go through this page, I’d say that I regret their programs offer is quite difficult to read. I mean : you have drive backup, drive copy, partition manager : OK, 3 different usages ; then you have hard drive manager, which can backup, move a drive to another, resize partition but each modules has less functionalities than the dedicated program : why not, but difficulties start here if you’re not an IT pro. Which differences between the backup I do with hard drive manager and drive backup? Are the archives from one compliant with the other? And are they compliant with any CD rescue from Paragon, or only the one attached to the program you used?
Now, here comes a new boot recue cd from Paragon. Great.
It seems it has more feature than the rescue cd I have from hard drive partition manager. Does it?
If I decide to use this new cd, will I be able to restore a backup archive from it?
In a nutshell, Paragon, which makes top-notch products, should clarify its commercial offer when it comes to target home users.

Hi again ! I’m with you on this matter. But maybe it is us who do not understand exactly this market.
A +
I heard about this software before but thanks anyway

Thank you!
Needed this software earlier this week when a dual-boot uninstall on one of my computers somehow went horribly wrong and left me with a totally unbootable hard drive. First, I had to use UBCD4Win to determine that there were cross-linked files and to correct that problem well enough for Resuce Disk to boot up and let me fix my boot config and restore hard drive partition letters. Without being able to fix that, I would not have been able to finish off with a non-destructive reinstall of my system and probably would have had to scrub the entire drive and put everything back from scratch. Rescue Kit saved hours (if not days) of work and untold frustration by doing exactly what it said it would. Thanks to Paragon for another great product.

Thank you for sharing information!
Franck above & ALL PC USERS!-
This week I had to use Paragon Backup & Recovery to avoid a total reformat of my harddrive, & it worked pretty much all by itself, recovering my backup image it had made very recently for me, just by pressing F6 at boot! EASY! For some unknown reason, probably my own error, I couldn’t access the rescue disk file, so I’ll remake that in a few minutes, now that I’m reminded of it. But if you want to protect your system with THE BEST & EASIEST backup software you could even wish for, get Paragon Backup & Recovery 10 ! It’s absolutely PERFECT! If you have this & the rescue disk and a good firewall, you’ll have the MUST HAVES for a safe PC! No future worries! I wish everyone had these programs & knew how great they are!
