   Downloaded successfully and received license!

   My computer broke about six months back and I was looking for some diagnostic software. I think I had come across Everest at that time but did not go for it since it was unclear if it would help for my situation then (computer freezing or BSODs). But now I have it for free, will take a closer look shortly.

   Anxious about PDF HF too.

   got download, although my download manager says one person said file was infected - will let you know later.
   My problem is no reg code when copy link from received email - I get a page that says this:

    Oh dear, I seem to be the only for whom the download does not work. I have cut and posted three times and always I get a “broken link” message. I even cut and pasted into DAP downloader directly, but it goes nowhere.

    I did get the second email, but I cannot use it! :-/

    UPDATE - I did some searching and found somewhere I could download the program - and it worked! Even better, it accepted the registration key too. So if others have trouble they can go here to download - (go4download.com/desktop-utilities/everest-ultimate-edition/ )

    Hi Hugh! I hope you’re taking care and do not download from any site. Maybe that site it’s clean ( I have no idea ) but be sure to use Virus Total before running any installer.

    Hi Bill S.

    After lot of pain I had at that time (some six months back), it turned out to be a bad mother-board. It took quite a while to get to this. My desktop now works with with a different Motherboard with same everything else.

    Do not know still if Everest could have helped with this. Paragon tools did come very handy though!

    These programs are especially useful when 1) confirming internals of a recently purchased new / used computer to avoid the “buyer beware” problems 2) For upgrading your computer (ie., what speed is your RAM??), 3) Troubleshooting issues on a computer. Nice find and Thanks heaps.

    darn thing is really impressive. I have Everest Home, but Ultimate is outstanding. Let see if it finds the problem on my home PC, which is tooooooo slow. As already stated, received first and second e-mails immediately, same w/ download. Installed and registered flawlessly on Vista 32 Prem.. Runs great and fast! Much more info than a regular mortal needs or would even understand. Recognizes the systems language automatically and everything is in Portuguese, which can be changed in preferences. Congrats for the finding for 4Free and to fake91 for sharing it with the community.

    Well I understand deep-linking is not fair toward editor (it’s contrary to Internet good practices)… And I understand that deep-linking a fully registered setup file or giving a direct URL found by IP sniffing is more than unfair…

    But…

    Deep-linking is at least unfair because it’s better to pay a little visit to the developer site. But what if the download page no longer exists ?
    How is it better to grab the file from elsewhere than using a direct deep-linked url ?

    In this case, it’s just a trial file that is directly downloaded, and there is no offcial download page for this version… but the editor notwithstanding decided to leave this file available to download…
    And, speaking about security, the best source for a program file is the file provided by the developer…
    And speaking about usability, a portable edition is a big plus for all 4 freers…

    So, just my two pennies… In a nutshell, I fully agree on the principle banning deep-link. But when there is no official page on the editor page but only the file to dowload, I think it’s still better to grab it from there… (as long of course it’s not a pre-registered version, a special edition with a special registration algorythm…)
    I hope I made myself clear… In any case, I respect and broadly share your position!

    Otherwise we wouldn’t have written the article.
    As long as the owners of any promotion supply themselves the keys … And there’s no standard legal warning about the limited access to the promotion …

    Oh Well, I just finished a long list of how this program will really help me, only to get an error upon submittal. Probably took much too long as I waded through the program.

    But anyway, THANKS!!! This is the most complete such utility I’ve ever seen, and now I have all of this information avialable in one place!!! This will make my fixing of computers on the side MUCH easier, a real benefit especially to those clients such as single parents and others who can’t really pay me. (I always was a softie for helping school kids get their projects in on time, helping various folks learn the skills to get back into the workforce, etc.

    Now, to put it to work!!

    I was not able to get the download links listed to work. However a search finally turned up a download link that works:

    If you are a friend of the guru Hilbert you can teach him to credit his sources.
    No matter if he took it from 4 Free or any other site.
    There are websites even bigger than the one you suggest WHO ARE ALWAYS Giving Credit To Their Sources.

    After a long wait for my Everest key, I submitted a Yahoo address. The key letter came to Yahoo almost immediately. I suspect my current address is blocking Everest,, and quite possibly 4 Free. How do I change my account address?

    Guys, I found out this and wanna share the info with you all. Hope it might be useful for some people.

    As Franck had said, there is a fully portable version of Everest Ultimate 4.60.It can be downloaded from : http://www.lavalys.com:8081/everestultimate460.zip
    We can register the portable program with the serial we got from the promo. Problem is the ‘registration’ would require internet access.

    However, I found out that we can actually register Everest Ultimate Edition 4.6 portable offline.

    All you need is the pkey.txt file found in the program folder. This is usually located at C:\Program Files\Lavalys\EVEREST Ultimate Edition. This text file is the program key file and will register/validate your license of the program.

    Simply copy and paste the pkey.txt file into the folder of the portable Everest. That will do the trick.

    This might also be useful for those who are installing the program on another machine without internet access.

    Forgot to mention, Si Soft Sandra is also great stuff, but with all the tests and monitors in it and optimizers,  it can get very slow and system taxing. I use them both and both are great. Sandra is a good all in one.

    I tried Everest when it was free and it was an excellent product.
    I won’t refuse to install it again this time.
    Along with it, I can also use Fresh Diagnose and Fresh UI to do the same for free also.

     Just finished the download and registration. A note to all who are trying this: The second step of the registration (the email that contains the key) lags a lot longer than the 4free instructions indicate–I had to wait over a half hour for that second email, so be patient!
