    Hi there
    I have grabbed several free Serif products in the past, and was so impressed that I paid for an upgrade to their newer versions. Now have Serif PagePlus X2, Webplus X2, MoviePlus 5, PhotoPlus 9. These are really great software products, and well worth upgrading if you can get a good cost price.

    guys there’s a “t” missing in the updates & patches link.
    Alternatives -
    1 . scribus - (DTPapp,CMYK color support)
    2. Inkscape - (vector drawing app but can export to pdf.)
    3.Open Office.org- /(can export to pdf)
    4.Creature House ( download link ) - http://download.microsoft.com/download/a/5/d/a5d625a5-2e3d-4e9c-8608-6de48d7b569f/CreatureHouseExpression3_3.exe (Export to pdf ,ai (Adobe illustrator),
    swf etc.)
    The official link for CreatureHouseExpression3 from Microsoft seems to be dead ,but the
    download link is working.

    I have used an older version of PagePlus for many years; it’s very easy to use and does the job as advertised ;).

    I’ll skip this one, but I can tell you that I’m really happy to see that with the help of for-free people get access to software like PagePlus. I’m mean this one isn’t one of tiny maintenance tools (you can easy replace them, not this one)!

    I have just downloaded, installed and got the serial key. I have been using some free Serif products for some years especially WebPlus SE. Although the free given ones are old versions and there are some limitations, they are still quality software.

    For desktop publishing (for me it is most of the time composition), the open source application Scribus is also a good alternative.

    Hi Guys.
    I hope everything is back to normal after yesterday.
    I have just downloaded PagePlus and I am very happy with it.Everything went smoothly and download to install and registration took about 15 mins max.I have just played around with it for 10 mins and have produced a custom calender.Believe me,I am no expert and so I highly recommend this software.
    A big thanks once again to Mayur and ash for another fantastic find.

    Honestly, I could not understand that is it a drawing tool or some sort of word processor or combination of both. In fact, this is the first time, I heard about it. I do not know where I will use it but, sure, I will keep it in my system for some time to test it. I installed it on Windows 7 and there was no problem in installing.
    -> There are two pages of Registration instead of one page. On 2nd page they ask about Title, E-mail (again), Name, Address, City (autofill), State (autofill), Phone, Country (autofill) and Password (Optional). After filling this, you get your Registration Key within 5sec.
    -> After installation, there was no desktop shortcut and not even a folder in start menu. I do not know that am I the only person to suffer it.
    ->If you did not see any shortcut or start menu folder (shortcut) and you installed on default position, you will find your PagePlus here:
    C:\Program Files\Serif\PagePlus\9.0\Program

    PS -> After installation, I received message that Acrobat Distiller 9 Stops working. I do not know Whey? Is there some conflict between both software? I did not run Acrobat Distiller 9 but I received message.

    holiday season has long been over here, but ,yes i am addicted to
    4Free.
    I’m glad you appreciate my contribution.
    Waiting eagerly for Mayur’s find.
    I’ve found more promos , registration works ok but i have not
    found any download source for the software.I’ll see if i can fix that

    Hi! Mayur’s announced find was PagePlus 9. He told us about it a few weeks before you. Nevertheless he already gaved us another one … And there are a few dozens on our list, anyway.
    This situation is very possible ( when one’s finds are already on our list or another friend share it in the same time ). But this is obviously a very positive aspect.

    Hello friends,it seems like an interesting piece of software Reg went like a charm,installed it ok.I cant tell though if it’s an office replacement or a professional design studio The gui is impressive,and there are a miriad of tools inside to help you make one cookie of a presentation.I can see now why so many of you like this product,but in my opinion you have to be something of a professional,to be able to use all it’s functions to the max.Thank you Mayur and 4 free!

    So I wasn’t THAT far away in the guessing contest for the “innovative PDF” when I suggested the Serif Page. I was just a couple of 4Free offers ahead!! As always everything just went fine. Time to retire my PagePlus 8! TKS guys. You’re, for sure, overloading my HD. Tks for mayur and ash too!

    Excellent find! It used to be that the British computer magazines had all the freebies; now it seems to be German magazines. We’ve had several in a row from them. I’m sure glad we have some people around here who read German!

    Don’t know about ash but I think that we already have the DL for the one you have too. ( if I’m not wrong )
    The problem is the marketing code. ( it’s not the usual registration ) We got it but we must take care at the legal aspect.
    OR if you’re talking about something with “2009″ … We got all that we need.

    i thought this was not the hot find and there was suppose to be another find from Mayur. And that is why i said that i was waiting for Mayurs find.
    I think you misunderstood me on “I’m glad you appreciate my contribution” part, what i meant was in that was the overall contribution from my part and not this promo.And i honestly think Mayur should be the one credited for this find ,it is more than enough that you mentioned about my email. But with my dial-up connection i won’t be able to catch up with you.And about the “when one’s finds are already on our list or another friend share it in the same time” may be we use a similar search algorithm.
    Is any of the freebie related to XXXX.I’m asking because the promos I’ve found are.Hope I’ve cleared up things.
    It is more than freebies we share here,don’t you think.
    And look how fast this site has progressed , from 1-2 promos every week to literally a promo everyday.

    2. About this find you have been co-credited with mayur. It’s very normal! You could have simply avoid to share it ( like others do ) but you have choosed not to ( like many other friends here - on 4 Free ).
    3. It’s obvious we have that algorithm ( and others ) … Just because we have studied the problem one year ago.
    4. You should know that we have already had 40-50 promotions on our list ( like today ) … even in the days when - like you say - “there were 1-2 promos ( articles ) every week”.
    We have tried then ( like we do know ) to share the quality finds AND to share them in a smart way.
    It would be very easy to only show the links but we have more important targets. Talking about softwares it’s the greates help for our own promotions project. ( we keep explaining it for the newcommers )
    5. Today we are in the situation to hold our own finds and publish the ones coming from our readers, as a sign of appreciation for their generosity.
    A community means more than selfish interest for grabbing free software. There are more and more readers understanding and joining us.
    Of course not everybody can understand a generous project. It’s their problem, not ours!

    First of all thanks to 4 Free, Mayur, and Ash for this wondeful HF. I already have microsoft publisher 2003 but PagePlus beat out Publisher on TopTen Reviews so I figured I will try it out. If I have time later, I will post back on how I feel this compares with Publisher.

    Congrats to Mayur and Ash for the find. I think I’ll pass this one mainly because of lack of time and because I don’t think I could have much use of this.

    Downloaded, received Reg keys, installed just fine.
    One of the shortcuts is a Page Plu 9 companion, which will walk you through the basics of the program for creating several types of documents.
    There’s also Tutorials under the Help menu.
    All in all, looks like a great publishing program.
