   Registered easily and installed fine on Windows 7.
   It is free software, so I’m taking it in case I need it, but I am kind of missing the point of software like this. Music doesn’t normally come on DVD, so the only thing you can do is extract movie soundtracks? What’s the point without anything to watch?
   Oh well, I guess someone somewhere can use it for something.

   (that”s nice : I never saw here a great French software being given away nor a nice promotion from a French magazine… basically, it’s because there is nothing such - at least I think there is nothing such around the web… So, thanks my_immortalize !)

   OK… so I was severe with France. But note that the best promotions found within magazines are German (occasionnaly Polish…)

   If he has already made it public I can now confirm he has a french IP, indeed.
   This time I will agree with you. Mostly the promotions for the German market always have the best quality! ( I guess this happens because the German ( or Polish ) speaking market is much smaller than the English, Spanish, French, Chinese ones … So it costs less to give free software on this limited market; but it helps for the marketing side, of course ) )
   This brings me to the surprise we are preparing.
   You’re “head of the list” … So I hope you’re not leaving anywhere today or tomorrow, because “we’ve got work for you”. ( intelectual work, of course )

   will get this one fore sure! D-Rock - I use this kind of software to basically extract the audio from live concerts, either rock or classical music. Many are 5.1, so better than regular CD’s.

    Bonjour a tous !

    Après avoir téléchargé le logiciel, et l’avoir installé sans problème, je me suis baladée sur le site, et j’ai découvert une section DRM Tools, je ne sais pas comment les choses se passent chez vous, mais en France, quand tu es honnête et que tu paies tes mp3, on te bloque avec des drm qui t’interdisent de lire tes mp3 ailleurs que sur ton ordinateur, ce que je trouve scandaleux car les hacker qui ne paient pas les musiques ne sont pas ennuyés par les DRM, et donc, Daniusoft propose un logiciel DRM WMA to MP3 Converter, Remove DRM from WMA and WMV, Convert DRM protected music to unprotected audio - convert protected WMA to MP3, WMV to MP3 etc.

    Logiciel tout simple, pour en revenir au logiciel DVD audio, heu… pas encore eu le temps de m’en servir, trop occupée avec DRM WMA to MP Converter,

    After downloading the software and installed it without problem, I Walked on the site, and I discovered a section DRM Tools, I do not know how things are with you, but in France, when you are honest and that you pay your mp3, you are blocking with drm that t’interdisent read elsewhere that your mp3 on your computer, what I find shocking because hackers who do not pay for music are not bothered by the DRM and therefore, offers software Daniusoft DRM WMA to MP3 Converter, Remove DRM from WMA and WMV, Convert DRM protected music to unprotected audio - convert protected WMA to MP3, WMV to MP3 etc..

    Very simple program to return the software DVD audio, uh … not yet had time to use it, too busy with DRM WMA to MP Converter:)

    Thank you for allowing us to do all these discoveries …

    I’m just curious : you keep posting in French on our English section just because of the usual French known ( by me ) idea of “keeping the french identity” ?
    Not that there’s anything wrong with that . C’est même sympa !
    If I’m not wrong DRM WMA to MP Converter is not free.

    j’écris en français, puis je fais traduire par google, et comme je ne pense pas être la seule française a venir lire les commentaires, autant laisser en français.

    Effectivement, il est pas gratuit dommage, mais le présenter permettra peut etre de le voir officiellement sur vos page en gratuit !

    Am glad that some people find this useful. I do not see any use for this for me, so will pass.

    With all due credit to the 4 Free team, I now come to know of most promotions on 4 Free ahead of you publishing it.
    But I learned about these techniques from 4 Free team itself, so full thanks to 4 Free.
    This is not to say that I no longer appreciate the good work you do, you are still very much appreciated for the finds, 4-Free exclusive promotions, and even more importantly for the sense of ethics and goodness you bear.

    You are right about something.
    There are a few promotions we would have not published before. We publish them now for 3 reasons:
    1. Important members of the community are recommending these softwares ( Franck, Mayur,YOU, etc … )
    2. … And you can see for yourself that there are comments saying that they would have missed the promos, without our articles.
    3. We’re kind of tired of seeing copy-cats bloggers getting traffic for other’s people work. They put these promos on their Google-copied-subjects/reviews blogs and they surely forget to give credit to the real source … Or they do it in a sneaky/childish way ( like “thank you my_immortalize” or “thank you Free Team” with no link at all )
    4Free is giving the real sources, so all readers can now verify the morality of some bloggers.
    The best example is how we have practically forced a young indian blogger to give credit to Hakan’s blog … while we have witness at least 10 of his last 3-4 month articles where he was ( stupidly ) avoiding to mention muratmesutuzun as his real source.
    …
    We would very much like your opinion ( as well as opinions from all our friends ) about my answer and if posting on 4 Free already known promotions is useless.

    I agree with Mario. There are plenty of music DVDs out there. I’m more likely to rip a concert or music compilation DVD to MP3 than a movie soundtrack, but each to his (or her) own.
    Overall, seems good software. Installed ok, registered ok.
    Just 2 things. Don’t seem to be able to rename tracks before ripping. Not such a problem for a soundtrack (1 big file?), but a pain when ripping lots of small song files.
    Also, I’m not sure why this software has subtitle and video editing functions. You can only save as audio files. Probably, the developer also sells this as a video converter, after some coding tweaks??
    These are not complaints. The software essentially does what it is sold to do - free is even better. Thanks team!

    This kind of questions are a bit tricky.
    We have seen this tecnique on other forums, where the same guy is launching this kind of question … Just to come back - under a different username - and “save the nation” with a brillant prepaired-in-advance answer.
    But if your question is really innocent … ( and please don’t take me wrong - I’m just using your comment to explain something to our real friends ) …
    No harm done, after all. Software is our hobby.
    … And we do find two minutes to use Google and see the differences.
    By simply checking Xilisoft’s official page I can see two major differences:
    1. Xilisoft DVD Ripper ultimate 5 can rip DVD to almost all video and audio formats … While Daniusoft DVD Audio Ripper can ONLY rip DVD audio to the most popular audio formats .
    2. The Price: $ 55.95 for Xilisoft DVD Ripper ultimate 5 … 0 ( ZERO ) for the promoted Daniusoft DVD Audio Ripper
    I’m sure there are many others but these two are enough for me to not try any other comparaison.

    I have found NONE of the promotions useless. It still is that while some promotions are seen elsewhere also before appearing on 4 Free, there are still many important ones that I would have missed had you not published it. Just an example is Windows 7 launch.

    Still more important is this: You have earned such a good reputation that your publishing a promotion is to me by itself suggests that the promotion is absolutely worth looking at, and that it is legal. Still not to talk about the comments 4 Free articles get from the members of the community!

    So yes, even if promotions are elsewhere, I do not mind 4 Free publishing if you see worth in it!

    And now that I could get it registered, I’ve tried it and can say it works very well !
    18 min. to rip a 2 h Clapton vid. It uses Lame encoder,very good.
    I’m recommending this to friends now.

    It’s been a long time I didn’t post comments here. Anyway, I just want to say thanks for this…got the key within seconds…if I remembered correctly, GAOTD had previously given this away for free but I missed it…so this is good news for me.

    P.S. The serial key is common/same for all who registered.

    I registered for, and downloaded this, and found the serial they sent me (twice) was invalid. Then I noticed the expiry date.
    Has anyone noticed that this free licence is only good for a month…till Oct 1, 2009. You can get most software free for a month’s trial, so I fail to see why everyone is so excited about this.
    Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate getting free stuff as much as the next guy, but I don’t consider this much of a giveaway.
