   Something not mentioned guys is that the last version of Photo Pos Pro offered before from here was 1.64
   ….the version now for free is version 1.72
   This is excellent, high quality photo editing software and everyone should have this!

   Hi guys,just got home from work and noticed this promo.I just can’t miss this one,cause I’m a sucker for photo editing software,even if I’m far from being a pro at it.I really liked the features of the older version,so this will be a welcomed upgrade.And it’s free too!

   1st, thanks for a great site.
   Now for the bad part. I just tried to install Photo Pos Pro v.1.72. During installation my Advanced Sytem Protector (ASP) popped up, saying that something was trying to add itself to the “AppInit Dll’s” in the registry. It says Spyware: Virus.Hidrag.a.
   I blocked It of course, and the rest of the installation completed. Now trying to run the program, it says that it needs to register the program online, which it fails, saying “check your internet connection and try again” and the program shuts down.
   Everything else works fine from the internet.
   Short about AppInit Dll’s (from the ASP helpfile): ” AppInit DLLs. This contains the list of DLL files that are loaded at the startup time. Therefore, it is very necessary to keep strong vigil on these files so that the system remains completely safe.”
   I can’t think of a reason why that program should start so early, except that it is spyware, trying to cover it own agenda. So watch out folks.

   You guys are killing me. You are offering so many great finds it hard to pick.
   I am trying this along with Arcsofts DarkRoom and cant make my mind which I like best. I enjoy trying different software even if I do delete most but you have some great finds.
   This program seems to take a bit more space than Arcsofts.

   Hi, just got back a couple of days ago from my summer holiday and only now had chance to visit 4free! And a *really* nice surprise it was too, to find Photo Pos Pro has become freeware! Looks like it’s time do some downloading

   I had no trouble with the Photo Pos Pro, however I tried to download their free Red Eye Whiz and it was infected. Don’t know if I would download to much from this site.

   Hi,
   since I just love panorama software and I took a lot (really a lot) of them in short time I tried this one, but sadly it doesn’t work with Windows 7 (Original RTM) Anyone else experiencing such issues?

   “Could possibly be great if it worked!”

   Pros: I would have to be able to make it work to give my opinion on this side of the equation!

   Seems promising on paper and in the screenshots.

   Cons: Installation seems to go well until the very end when it hangs forever saying “Waiting for external program to close”, I then have to go to resources and manually shut the install down. After that, I can start it but it hangs again showing an error.

   Summary: Starting the program shows the Lion/Man morph design but then hangs saying there was an error and advises to look at the log.

   Said log tells of two missing DLLs that upon checking I find in their proper place in Windows system 32 folder.

   This is the only photo program that gives me such grief, all the others I have installed are up and running (these include the GIMP, PaintDOTnet, Photoscape, Photofiltre among others).

   At first, I thought it might be my unorthodox way of putting my program files on my second internal hard drive but since then I have tried putting in on my C drive, installing it as an administrator but it still behaves the same way.

   And it will not uninstall, I have to use Revo uninstaller and force it to uninstall.

   My system is a Compaq with Windows Vista Basic SP2 and 3 GBs of RAM.

   Like I said, everything else works !

   Darn, I so wanted to use this program.

    About a week ago I used POS Panorama Pro for the first time. The result was good. Each time I have tried to use it since then, I have had a problem. It will get to the point of showing the panoramic image it generates, then a message will appear that a problem exists and the program must shut down. The image is lost.

    I have also tried to run the program on Windows XP Home under Boot Camp on my Mac. The program will not even open.
