Hi amon !
I hope it’s useful !
Good tools
Do not have to fill all information in the forms. Just first-name and email (need to enter email twice) worked for both promotions.
Language for the second promotion can be easily changed to English if you like:
http://www.getdata.com/special-product-offer.php?from=545222&item=109&lang=en
(Just changed “de” at the end to “en”)
I just downloaded the ExplorerView. Download, registering, and installation all worked without any problems. Thanks.

I have installed ExplorerView on my XP SP3 Intel Celeron 4A, System Memory 1024 Mo (DDR SDRAM).
Is it my old machine or this software is slowing down the explore process anyway ?
I’d rather say it’s my puter’s fault because it is frequently darn slow !
Best regards !
hi Bashir !
Imho it’s your PC’s fault. It worked very fast when I’ve tried it.Regards !

Hi again amon!
You’re talking about ExplorerView, I imagine. ( Recover My iPod is not Vista compatible anyway )
… And I can only imagine it does not support Windows x64.
You can verify the Knowledge Base or submit a support ticket here

Good luck !
Hi guys…
Nice tool ( Ex-V ) but failed when trying to open my video (. I don’t know which one is corrupt, my windows or ex-v. Does anyone had the same problem with me?
Thanks guys esp. Mayur and Amirz…
Downloaded and installed the ExplorerView software. The whole process from registration to installation took 10 mins and works well on my WinXP machine. It is also easy to turn it ON or OFF from the Win Explorer using the F8 function key.

Thank you for the fast feedback !
Thank you Mayur, Amirz and the 4Free team for this software.
yes Explorer View, I checked but it doesn’t show that it supports x64 bit.
So I think I have to just leave it there.
Thank you for the help.

Have a nice weekend!
J’ai eu le même problème que amon, mais après avoir redémarre l’ordinateur, tout est rentré dans l’ordre.

Hi CZ !
What link ?
( you must copy and paste in your browser - the links to both registration pages )
Sorry for make my self unclear….
The video problem is about .avi from my camera. when I played them then there was a massage telling :Video not available. cannot find ‘vids:mjpg’ decompressor.
Well after searching the web maybe my problem is there is some codec missing or not included. Now I’m waiting the answer from the developer / support as I had asked them about this prob.
Nice one guys! Fast download and registration.
Neat install and they work as advertised.
Thanks to everybody involved !
Thank you very much, friends, for this especially exciting find! Both of these items are something that shall be very useful to me.
Thank you again!

Hi !
We hope it’s useful.
Thank YOU !
Looks like a very useful program. Thank you very much.
Downloaded, installed and activated Explorer View, even played with it while checking how it works, and can state that it’s a very handy and useful tool (at least for me), thanks guys, thanks Major. If someone after installing this tool on vista notice that after installation some programs disappear from taskbar-don’t worry, after rebooting all of them will appear again.
As for second software-actually I don’t need it, but wish good look to those who is gonna to obtain this software.
Cheers!
it said [Free web based email accounts such as Hotmail and Yahoo cannot be used in this offer.]
but seems no problem at all, and if this can’t be use for commercial purpose, why they want [Company] information for?
2 points
Hi W!
What exactly do you see so special in giving them a email address ( of your choice ) ?
… And most promotions are for no commercial use.
It must be me, but I don’t understand your point.
Regards !
Hi guys! Great find!
Got the license and installed without any problem. Wow, very nice.
Was a bit concerned since I have another Explorer add-on, FolderBox, which opens another pane like ExplorerView does. But no problem.
Invoking ExplorerView just takes the place of FolderBox if it’s already invoked, and vice versa.
What’s really nice is you can un-dock ExplorerView… So I can run both FolderBox and ExplorerView at the same time.
Thanx mucho
P.S. Whatever happened with HF34, hadn’t gotten an e-mail notification yet? It still in the works?
5 points
Thank you for the feedback, Jelson !
HF34 was already published ( i.on My Business, …) . We have sent you an email from forfreeteam. Have you checked your spam folder ?
Regards !
When I go to the registration page and submit my email id it says that email is already registered.
Then I remember I do have registered for version 4.0.2.282 obtained from a ComputerActive CD which I have never tried. So I fired up the installer and it actually offered me to download the latest version which I comply.
Unfortunately, the software, once installed, simply freezes my computer. And I am running a C2D with 4gigs of RAM etc on WinXP Pro SP3!!! So I uninstall the crap after doing a hard reset.
A BIG thumbs down.

Strange ! … But thank you for the feedback, of course.

As some may recall the company i work as a manager is a part of MS Network and now that we launched WIn7 I am trying to convince the CEO to give me a license (ore more) to make a contest here (”in order to promote the OS”). IF i succeed i will post a comment and maybe there could be a contest or something to give it (or them) away

ExploreView works great on my Vista Home Edition, SP2. ( x32 )
Have a nice weekend !
I don’t have problem to give an email address to obtain a promotional license, but it would be problem when provider dictate what email I can/can’t use. because then I either go away or made up a disposable junk box for it, that defeat the purpose vendor can collect feedback/promote product.
same reason, if they(this promotion) are not for commercial use, don’t need to collect “company” as registration entry, at least put a (optional) note would be better. similar to ask SSN for movie screening.
not big deal, just move on

Thanks for explaining your point of view.
Like you say : No big deal, after all.

Hello - not sure where to post general comments, I apologise if this is in the wrong area. I’d like to thank you guys for providing such a fantastic resource. I’m someone that enjoys looking at software and seeing what it can do as a product, so this is very helpful to me. Hopefully I can send the odd write-up now and again.
I wish I could point you towards some promotions myself, but I have no idea how you people find out about them. Anyway, thank you and keep up the good work.

I found that Recover MY Ipod is compatible with Vista Business - in contrary to what the developer claims (is that strange? usually it’s the other way round…)
Anyway, great software, thanks Amirz and Mayur!

Thank you Adrian !
I’m afraid there must be some bugs, if the developer says no Vista compatibility. But who knows, maybe you’re the lucky one :

Great app this file viewer. A keeper for me .
Thanks Amirz, Mayur & the Team !
Second attempt to post. It gets more and more difficult.
Hi ! Soon … ! Thanks for being so patient! Regards !
Thank you Mayur, Armiz and the 4Free team for this nice program. Unlike so many others, I do NOT hate Windows Explorer. I’ve tried all (probably all) of the so-called replacements and falling back on Microsoft’s old stand-by. Over time I’ve installed several nice little add-ons. This will make my collection complete.
Really luv to read ur forum’s & finding gr8 offers
If I miss one day without watching ur forum,I feel that there is something missing

No, I didn’t usa a free email account. Maybe they think I did?
Very disappointed.
Sorry to hear that, but you seem to be the only one.
Have you tried with a different email address ?
Hey folks….i’m back again lol. I kept trying and trying and eventually i shortened the copy and paste and got the software. Will try it now and get back to ya’s with some FB
Thanks for the gift. They are really clocking up now.

Thanks Mayur and Amirz.
Interesting finds… I tried ExplorerView for Windows Explorer. I find the concept original and useful. I must say I uninstalled it because:
- i found it very invasive (on a laptop, there is not much place on the screen… and the preview pane takes more place than the place left for browsing files and folders)
- when set to be displayed by default in each new explorer window, it activates the “explore” pane on the left on the windows… which I don’t like. I prefer no pane there, leaving the space for some information regarding the selected file(s).
- when set to not be displayed by default, my explorer windows are the good old way, but… it takes many clicks to display the preview pane (as there is no button shortcut)… So it turns useless…
I must say that this explorer add-in is a resident program, and therefore it uses RAM. Why not, but for what benefits? Many file type can be previewed without it (for instance windows can preview images by itself : display -> thumbnail, and you’re done).
Txt doesn’t really need preview… I can read pdf, my web browser is always opened, so no need preview local html… for preview local php, as I suppose it can’t process it, notepad is enough…)
So, on further consideration, I decided not to keep it…
Thank you all, 4Free, Mayur also for free GetData Recover My Ipod it’s really a great software thanks alot
best regards

OK! But have you gotten it ( them ) ?
I am tempted to install the Explorer view Program, but a question for Franck or whoever could help, please.
and Cheers.
How much Memory/ CPU does this take up while idling? i.e. if it is set to not display by default. (and your OS too, if you comment).
Thanks so much.
Many thanks Mayur, Amirz and 4Free!
I find Explorer View most useful.
That was a great tip!

This soft seems to REALLY slow down my PC - AMD 64 X2 2.2 Mz with 3 Gb memory, running Vista Home Prem.
Initially it seemed like a good idea for me, but to preview the file I have to click on it, so it appears on the viewing panel. BUT this action, at the same time, just simply opens the clicked file and I can see it in the default program, which normally opens fairly quickly.
So I can’t see how this software will help me. So will uninstall it and hope my PC returns to it’s regular speed.
Thanks 4Free anyway.
mario
Fast feedback - unistalled ExplorerView and everything “seems” normal up to now. Had to reboot to “complete” uninstallation.
mario
hi, ExplorerView is really very useful software. and it is compatible with windows7 too.
2 points
Thank you for the short feedback.
Regards !
I installed this last night–it works great!
FYI for everyone: You don’t need to have the system tray app loading on start-up (or running at all) in order for ExplorerView to work. You can either deselect this option during installation or remove it from your start-up items after installation (by whatever means you use–msconfig or third-party utility; my fave is WinPatrol).
3 points
Hi !
Both details were obvious for us but you’re surely right : it’s better to highlight them.
Thank YOU !
I hate to say it folks…
i uninstalled explorer view…it slowed my pc right down and it tried to take over every time i did a search and blanked out half my browser.
It made think maybe i’m downloading too much now but when i uninstalled it my pc came back to life.
I feel terrible giving back bad feedback because i know the team works hard and i have never had any problems like this on this site before. I will keep the installer and key and who knows, maybe in the future i will use it again.

Hey CZ !
This is not bad feedback … It’s very appreciated feedback because it’s showing the reality !
Are you on vista ?
Thank you !
Hi There,
Yes, i’m using vista.
Could that be the reason i was having problems??

Normally … no ! It worked fine on one of our Vista machines. Maybe a incompatibility with another software you have … Who knows!
