NetObject Fusion 10 - 4 Free !

Hi friends !

Today we wanted to publish another post from Franck … But the same Franck has made us change it, with this few words comment :

Hi!
Did you notice your topic on this soft at Raymond’s? ( HERE )

Hunt4Gold found the promo page now offer a v10 license and captcha found the link to the proper installer…
So… maybe this v10 is a little better than v9 (according to your statement above, there is a better usage of CSS in this v10… better usage than in V9 isn’t difficult though…)

We were aware about that post on Raymond’s forum ( before Captcha’s comment containing the DL ) and even more … BrianB has given us yesterday the registration link ( without the DL ) for this promotion … But we’ve had no time to find the right installer ( the demo-trial was not accepting the supplied serial ) .

So with so good freebie hunters , all we can do is to say a big Thank You ! to Hunt4Gold, Captcha, BrianB and Franck !

After the previous possibility to grab NetObject Fusion 9 you can now have the next Version - V10. Note that the latest version V 11 - regular price approx $ 200 - can be actually bought with a 55 % discount. Another positive aspect of this promotion is that you can upgrade it to the latest version - V11 - for only $50.

Talking about the latest version - V 11 - these are the extras you do not get with V10. ( see HERE )

* fully Vista compatible
*  Ajax UI Components
* Ajax Effects and Transitions
* Data-source XML Binding
* Data-bind to any object
* XHTML 1.0 Publishing
* Automatic Code Hinting
* Integrate custom scripts
* Image Gallery
* Google Site Traffic Tools
* Integrated Web Apps

… But you still get these new features - extras to V 9 ( see HERE )

- New User Workspace Take control of your work environment and be more efficient than ever. With a Tasks Checklist and customizable workspace, Fusion 10 gives you the freedom to work the way you want to work.

- More Precision using CSS - Gain complete creative control using new CSS2.1 tools. See your custom CSS styles while you work and use the built-in properties grid to add custom effects with no coding knowledge needed.

- “More Flash, Mora Fan” - Take advantage of the latest Flash tools without leaving Fusion! Add custom Flash Photo Galleries and choose from a library of hundreds of decorative Flash elements.

- New features to increase Productivity - Preview and edit SiteStyles while you work. Apply CSS to your Fusion components and see your changes in Page View. Have Fusion generate W3C standards based HTML 4.01 code for your sites.

    It’s nice to see the news published :)
    That said, if the “other” post is the oneI think, I think it was a more interesting offer (cheaper program, but definetely top-notch!)

    NetFusion Object is surely the best in its category, but I’m not sure one can achieve great results using program from within this category!!! (remember my opinion upon v9?)

    Wow. This is great to be able to get an update from version 9.
    However, around the time version 9 was offered, I decided to try and have been using since the Fusion Essentials version.
    Despite it being up to xp only it seems to have been working on my vista with no problems and it has all the features I would ever need. So I think I will just stick with that but I am sure this will be super useful for a bunch of people.
    As always, thanks to everyone involved.

    Unfortunately, the Installer gave me some Trouble using Windows 7 x64.
    Once started it unpacks all Files into a Temp Folder but after entering the Registration Information it seems to delete most of those Files again.
    So in the next Step it couldnt find the Files anymore.
    In Order to get it to work, i had to copy the Folder C:\Users\Zoriel\AppData\Local\Temp\WZSE0.TMP away to a different Location before entering the Reg-Info and later point the Installer to the new Location.

    … And now it’s working on W7 x 64 ?!
    Thank you for the interesting details.

    I don’t have time right now to test this. But these websites give it mostly positive marks:
    - http://www.helium.com/items/659229-software-reviews-net-objects-fusion-10
    - http://www.pocket-lint.com/review/2141/netobjects-fusion-10-pc-software
    - http://www.itreviews.co.uk/software/s438.htm
    - http://www.pcpro.co.uk/reviews/software/104918/netobjects-fusion-10
    - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NetObjects_Fusion.

    The only negative thread I found is that users cannot directly change the HTML code of their website AND have those changes copied to the NetObjects Fusion proprietary code. In other words, it cannot read and import HTML code, only export it.

    Franck posted a detailed review and critique of version 9, and it looks like much of it still applies to version 10 and even version 11: http://for-free-on-internet.com/2009/07/netobjects-fusion-9-100-4-free/. It would be wonderful to read Franck’s own opinion, if he has time for that!

    This is a real contribution!
    Thank you Bruce !

    Thanks to 4Free for building the community so that users like Hunt4Gold, Captcha, BrianB and Franck can offer the rest of us new software. Registration and download worked without problem. I have always hand coded web sites but decided to try NetObject Fusion to see what the fuss is about. Thanks also for Jonnyboy’s comment; I’ll look at that also.

    What timing! I have to make a new website & was dreading the chore. Now, I have something new to play with. THANKS!
    I downloaded, installed, & registered with no problem to Vista 32. The e-mail with the key arrived immediately so no wait! I did install the PDFs of instructions etc. and after breifly reading thru, it looks like a good run on making the site. Won’t be starting the project till end of next week probably, but I’ll make the practice site as per their instructions. A GREAT FIND!!!!!

    Hi Guys,

    I have a question either for you or the 4 Free readers. Does any one know of a good, step by step guide for beginners? I’ve never built a web site and would like to know what’s involved. I’ve downloaded Fusion and now would like to learn how to use such tools properly. Many thanks in advance for any help you or the others could provide.

    Take care and have a good day.

    22 October, 2009

    Pavid, did you download the extra PDF’s that came with the program? One of them, the”Getting Started” guide walks you thru setting up a web site. You actually build one (a fake one, but it shows you everything.)

    You could do a Google search for Tutorials & find other help also. Hope this helps.

    Hi Pavid,

    Would suggest having a look at http://www.html.net/ seems very basic and step by step.

    I have also registered with Zymic and got a free site to play with.

    Progs I have used are html-kit http://www.htmlkit.com/ for editing and http://filezilla-project.org/ for uploading. Both freeware. Not sure if they will work with Fusion as i am very new to this too

    Thanks sunrose, Bob and the guys!!
    I’ll certainly be checking out the resources you guys have mentioned.
    I haven’t actually installed Fusion yet as I will be upgrading to Win 7 shortly and since I use XP at the moment I will have to blow away everything during the upgrade.
    Once that’s done and I’ve installed Fusion, I will be sure to check out the PDF’s you referred to, sunrose.
    I will also be sure to try Wordpress as I would like to get a blog going and I haven’t been too impressed with Blogger’s offerings.

    Once again, thanks for the help. Take care and have a good day.

    This is a very handy find for those needing to construct a website with the minimum of fuss, i have used it myself on a couple of occasions, but will stick to Dreamweaver or ASP.net for my website designs (a steeper learning curve and more expensive, but more freedom to be creative imo), again though nice if you need it.
