GetData Explorer View for Microsoft Outlook ( worth $ 29,95 ) - 4 Free (Outdated)

Hi friends !

We can ALL only thank Mayur for sharing with us another promotion !

After ExplorerView For Windows Explorer and Recover My iPod free promotions revealed one month ago wehave the possibility to grab from the same software developer - GetData - Explorer View for Microsoft Outlook.

Like already said we’re “working on something” and we don’t have the time to try all the softwares found in free promotions. Don’t worry, Mayur assured us it’s OK ! . :)

We don’t even use Microsoft Outlook! But we know there must be an important number of Outlook users among our readers. So please enjoy it … And don’t forget to share your reactions - in comments . Thank you!

From the official page

° Preview Outlook email attachments, including:

* .doc
* .xls
* .ppt
* .pdf
* .jpg
* .tiff
* .dwg
* .avi
* .wav
* And more … … See all recognized file types HERE.

° Play music, watch videos, read documents, all from inside Outlook

° Copy and paste directly from an email attachment to a new message or other application

° Print directly from the preview window

Instantly preview Microsoft Outlook email attachments in all versions of Microsoft Outlook:

* Without leaving Outlook;
* Without opening other applications;
* Without the creating application installed;
* In a secure and protected preview environment;

Explorer View for Outlook uses its own file preview technology to display the contents of Outlook attachments. This means that attachments can be displayed quickly and securely.

If you receive email attachments Explorer View can save you and your organization significant time and money.

Explorer View for Outlook places an Explorer View button in the Outlook Tool bar. When the button is clicked it replaces the standard Outlook Reading Pane with the Explorer View Reading Pane. To return to the standard Outlook Reading Pane, just click the Explorer View button again.

Explorer View then selects the appropriate file viewing technology to preview the file. However, it also provides the flexibility to choose other attachment display options, such as Text or HEX.

When the Explorer View reading pane is activated it identifies email attachments by their internal file structure (i.e. the header, content and footer of the file). This gives an added layer of security because it is not possible to trick Explorer View by changing the file extension.

How to grab Explorer View for Microsoft Outlook 4 Free ?

1. Go to this promotion page and fill in the requested fields and  the secure code . Don’t forget to tick “I have read and agree to the terms and conditions” and hit “Register”

    Installed and tested a little on Outlook 2003 & Vista. Works fine, and can be adjusted to not take up so much space as in the screenshots. But I will have to use it for quite some time if I am to actually like it! - which I won’t as I prefer Thunderbird.

    bytheway, the first link for “Explorer View For Windows Explorer and Recover my iPod” is wrong.

    Sorry but the link is working fine!

    I do use Outlook, but even so would not use this.
    When people send me attached documents, they are there for a purpose: to be opened up and worked on. So there’s little point in previewing them.
    For those whose email tends more to the entertainment side, there might be some usefulness to this.

    Downloaded and installed ok. Previewed a gif. file ok but did not recognize a wmv. file. I’ll have to test it some more before I decide whether or not to keep it. But either way, thanks for the HF.
    I am using Outlook 2003. I also tried it on Outlook 2010 Beta but it did not recognize that version.

    Humm … Did not recognize a “classic” file like .wmv ?!
    Thanks for the feedback!

    Thanks Mayur & 4 Free this is a great add-on for Outlook, It kinda annoys me that features like this are not native to Outlook. This however does a pretty good job making up for the lack of functionality in Outlook by default.
    On another note XXX

    I’ll pass on this one because I use Windows Mail instead of Outlook, but ExplorerView For Windows Explorer that I grabbed here from earlier promotion is a great tool I like very much.
    Thanks guys for such great soft, and I personally want to thank Major, because nothing on the whole internet can be hidden from such a professional “Freebies Hunter”. Cheers Major!!!

    It’s not big deal but we have always had errors when sending you emails.
    This means you probably do not need the HF notifications. Nothing important, after all.

    First off, a big thanks to Mayur for the unstoppable force that drives him and makes a lot of us more contented every day .
    And though this looks really nice & useful, I’ll pass as the only use I’ve for Outlook is work-related and so get no emails I ‘d need to preview before digging in.
    Thanks Mayur & 4Free.

    Hello 4 Free Team and All, This review is late in coming, but I wanted to get a couple weeks of use in before I give my impressions of the software.
    I do happen to be a daily Outlook user and have been for a number of years. In my line of work, I do quite a bit of writing and get a lot of Word document attachments, in addition to Excel, Powerpoint, and other file types with my e-mails.
    Although I do eventually have to read these documents in their entirety, I have to say that being able to quickly preview them saves me a lot of time without having to open up these programs initially — particularly if there a number of attachments and a number of e-mails that I have to quickly scan if I’m very busy.
    There aren’t a great number of options with the software, so it’s fairly spartan in terms of bells and whistles, but then again, there is probably no need for this if you just need to scan an attachment. Thanks again for offering this software!
