The team has some HFs … Mayur is “disturbing” us all with new ones 
… It’s a tough life on 4Free !
Seriously now: we’ll soon start to apply the new rule for the HF notification.
We have found logical to give at least 5-7 days to all our friends in order to start participating in at least one BestS survey. This is not a teacher-kids situation but the usual give-and-take relation on 4Free.
We know you all appreciate the work put in finding and explaining so many promotions. Taking the surveys is another kind of contribution ( very important as well ) anybody can bring with ease.
Right now there are other 30 comments awaiting moderation on the BestS surveys and we’re sure there are many others to come.

Reminder
NEW RULE - for the emailed HF pre-notifications: we are asking our friends ( “green” or not … everyone ! ) to kindly take our BestS Surveys ( but the first two conditions must be fullfiled - see in below ).
In one word : to participate.

1. Like a few friends have already done , ALL READERS ( wanting to help ) SHOULD KINDLY SHARE THEIR CHOICES in the 4Free BestS surveys … And NOT only the “green card owners”.
Why ! Because most of our active readers will go green , sooner or later ( + 200 turning green in November and December 2009 ! ).
Once you turn green … Your comments on every BestS survey will also become green … And your choices will be taken into consideration.

2. And ANYWAY, like everything on 4 Free, these surveys are GENUINE and interactive
One can reconsider his choices at any given moment. It’s easy to cancel the old choices and take into consideration the new ones.
This way the 4 Free BestS surveys will always be as up-to-date as possible.

We hope that all our readers have understood the reasons why we’re using the HF procedure, trying to give first access to our readers ( through the email pre-notification system ) :
- When the software found in a free promotion is very important …
- AND / OR no other sites ( or very few ) have mentioned the found promotion …
- AND / OR the download is very slow and it is advisible to be among the first to download …
- AND / OR a sudden popularity of the registration and download links will force the owners to stop the promotion.As always recently active members ( one simple Hello in the last 2 weeks ) will receive email notifications ( please be sure you are qualified for the pre-notification by simply taking our BestS surveys HERE and sharing your software giveaway whises HERE ). You have seen that it’s always better to be among the first to register and download!

Mayur’s disturbing :)… So maybe this time we’ll have a real multiple HF !!!
(and I confess I hope it won’t be some kind of optimizer, system tweak… I don’t like those much!)

No optimizer or tweaking tools, for the moment. You must admit a tech savy like you is hard to please
Multiple ? Why ? Do you have the time to write multiple feedbacks ? Just kidding but you know we insist on talking about the softwares … And you also know why .
Same for the surveys : in time they will become much more accurate and useful. We have the experience of the Giveaway Wishes survey. ( + 400 votes !)

You’re right. about the accuracy getting better and better within time..
Multiple is mainly a question of choice, if you ask. I have no time to properly try out everything we get… But I like to discover new programs. No no no : I’ll try to be more accurate. I like to discover new possible usages of a computer and get tools that can do new things I couldn’t do until then…
You’re also right on another point. I don’t like one-click optimization programs and tools that can do multiple and assorted tasks..
But what I didn’t know and what striked me through my comment here (and others comments) : I’m indeed really difficult to satisfy.
(I now understand why I wasn’t happy posting comments on GOTD
For-Free Staff,
As concerning the upcoming Hot Find, something unique and eminently useful would be very nice. I have little need for any of the usual fare (utilities, PDF tools, media tools, et al). May I suggest some sort of programming software? A compiler or disassembler, methinks, would be quite handy (and innovative). Or perhaps something such as a web traffic analyzer?

For the 4Free specials : the portfolio of the signed deals is already very divers.
For the HFs - these are just promotions we find here and there … We only decide what, when and how to publish.

Well maybe BestS Surveys should be renamed to BestS Giveaway in [Category]
simple naming, but You know most of us that naming is essential ;). on the other hand we want opinions and probably developers want more (hmm how to phrase it) reliable data and maybe a badge to add on a product box like “Chosen as BestS at 4Free”. I’d like to see that 
really.
So here’s my call to others think of these surveys as possible freebies tell us what You like (or not) about them. This is by no means the Team’s voice only my own and does not mean that they will be offered (as far as I know) and should not be used outside of context of this post uff..ok.
Only a question to the team and everyone here I know we have or we should have enough software that anyone should be able to voice their opinion, but if there are people that have no experience with any application types mentioned in BestS just say it out loud (and what we’re missing). Hope that’s ok with You guys?

Of course there will be a badge ( real good looking ) and everything this kind of survey ( made in a serious manner ) involves.
For the moment everything is a … draft ( you can say a beta stage )
We must stay humble and admit this is just the beginning … And be patient.
We’re not some “fake gurus” or “fake reviewers” claiming we know everything about everything. The BestS surveys will reflect the honest feedback from 4Free members. As simple as that !
As concluded with Franck, time will help us and we’ll have more voters and more accurate results.
As for your last phrase - Seb - I don’t understand it very well. Those having no experience with a certain software domain ( from BestS ) should specify “I don’t use that ” ? This is what you’re saying ?
I think they are already doing that, but maybe you’re right to encourage the others ( being in the same situation ) to tell it.
Anyway we should not worry. We know we’ll have an important number of voters, in time.
4 Free is not a commersial site and that’s why we have the pleasure and patience to build things.

i agree with franck on his point, there appears to be many system optimizers free nowadays, eg. winoptimizer 2010, zonelink system utilities etc, its nice if something else which rarely pops up (like games, security software) appear here.

My idea was just to allow them to tell us what software survey they would like to see. If someone can’t truly participate in a survey (and won’t qualify for notifications). That’s it. Sorry it was really late when I was writing that one.

Take it easy on our friends! Not everyone has superhuman powers like yourself, able to work night and day with food or sleep. It boggles my mind how you keep coming up with these things, but I do appreciate it.
Oh boy!!! I don’t know what I need anymore.
I’ve got so many different software… I think I have 99% of what I need, and if you ask me what is this 1% left, I won’t be able to tell. I am getting to the point of replacing old stuff for updated or better ones! Thanks!!

Thank you for the Ashampoo 2010. I got it and it looks ok but I really find IObit Advanced SystemCare the best I have found and also TuneUp Utilities is worth checking out.
My needs are simple and a light on resources security product/s such as ESET would be great.
Sunbelt Software products are looking good and they are to be putting out a full security system with Vipre antivirus and firewall hopefully soon.

Kaspersky is pretty heavy on resources and that is why I find ESET a great product. I know Kaspersky is considered one of the best and so I would be interested in any future versions by that company.
