Actually, seeing the generosity of GlarySoft, I feel a bit embarrassed not having ever spent the money to get the Pro version - so sorry! And now, it seems that I won’t have to - many thanks!

Glary Utilities is one of the most reliable system cleaners. I have tried their basic version & have no problems with it. The registry cleaner is very stable compared to many others.

Thank you, 4 Free Team, for offering a wonderful surprise for the Christmas holiday! I believe I qualify for a license for Glary Utilities Pro, having just completed my last of the BestS surveys.
With that said, I’d like to comment on this particular utility.
I have tried many of these utilities over the years, in an effort to try and find the “best” one for my purposes. I guess there can never be a single utility that does everything you want it to.
So, as I’ve commented previously under the “Best Utilities Software”, I have been devoted to using a number of utilities programs, all of which would fall under the shareware category.
I currently use the trial version of Glary Utilities Pro.
Like other utility programs, Glary Utilities Pro software offers a “swiss army knife” of applications from computer optimization applications, to registry and junk file cleaners, to start-up monitoring.
And, like other programs in its class, this program offers some “extras”, which I do like.
For example, it offers a built-in encryption/decryption program.
While these kinds of programs are available as freeware, it’s nice to have this under one umbrella, so you don’t have a lot of different programs cluttering up your computer and waste time fishing for a particular program.
Similarly, Glary Utilities Pro offers file splitting and joining as an extra, whereas other similar utilities do not.
This is also a nice feature. Again, while this may not seem like a big deal for those who know exactly where to go to get a program that does this at the time you need it, it’s nice to know that it’s available in this single package.
Finally, in my opinion, Glary Utilities Pro has a very nice user interface. While it does have a number of applications, it is not overwhelming to use.
I think programs like this could eventually run the risk of including too many utilities to keep their products competitive, and thus may also run the risk of becoming overwhelming to the user as an unintended consequence.
However, at this point, the program offers a nice and realistic balance of programs that are all easy to access and intuitive to use.

I’ve been pleased with Glary Free, and would now like to try the added features of Glary Pro. I entered 3 of the 4 surveys, but don’t use an Internet Suite, and can;t make any judgement..

I am not qualified but I will appreciate receiving GU PRO.
Currently I use GU free. I compared it with Iobit’s Advanced System Care PRO and free. They perform similarly. The registry section of ASC catches more registry issues (mainly using deep scan which exists only in the RPO version). IAshampoo winoptimizer catches somewhat less issues than GU and seems eqaully safe. it seems that ASC is somewhat less safe to use but I have no proof of this. I have not used the registry defrag option of GU since NTREGOPT worked well previously so I chose to stay with it and with ERUNT which I use before major installations or cleanup.

wonderful holidays seasons to all and to the community.
I used Glary Utilities free one year back.During those times I was not satisfied with its performance, may be I was not able to handle Glary Utilities free to its best of its ability.As I was using its free version so it is manual so may be some mistakes while doing the custom scan. Then thorugh various promotions I got ASC Pro-3 ,as I used Glary Utilities Free for very minuscle time so unable to give a fair pros and cons chart of it, for that am feeling sorry to the community. As ASC Pro-3 is its competitor in its true sense , also am using ASC Pro-3 for quite a time ,so am giving the cons side or neagative side of ASC Pro-3 so that it can be camparable with Glary Utilities Pro and also good things can be derived from it.
the first and foremost problem of ASC pro-3 is its “Automatic Update “, it cannot be disabled easily and after a certain interval of time it tries to connect to internet to search for updates avaialble , and it is a quite a frustating experience for dial up users and dueing these times it consumes a lot of CPU resources and also RAM, though offline considering the slow connections, and this features cannot be disable easily and I hope Glary Utilities Pro , if I in the license of it , will not have this ugly feature as far as my opinion is concerened.
After installation of ASC Pro-3 IE-8 and firefox -3.5 slows down a bit, I hope with Glary Utilities Pro this will not happen .
Most of the times especially during the month of october ,november the updates of ASC Pro-3 comes with full installtion and you have to install that software again from the start this becomes much boring , siganture update is much appreciated and also new version update shuold be in a month or may be two months of time so that the user does not have to downlaod the installaer again and again and I hope this will be not at Glary Utilities Pro.
There are some unnecessary programmes in the utilties section of ASC Pro-3 and this can be do away with.The PC optimisation and speed up feature of ASC Pro-3 is the reverse and if you use it yours PC GUI will be come more beautyful but the back side of it is it will slower yours PC, I think the PC optimisation feature of Tune up Utilities 2009 is good, it makes PC more samrtyer and more responsive, I hope Glary Utilities Pro must be doing some great things in this section.
Please consider for me for Glary Utilities Pro.
