For what it’s worth: EASEUS Partition Master Pro is a full version which does not need registration and can be installed at any time, but according to some comments on TSA the last time this was given away (Sept. ‘09), people who tried to install it after the promotion date, could not do so.
Advanced SystemCare Pro was on a similar free promo less than two mths ago - could this mean sth in relation to how’s business doing?

Do you mean that if you register that way, you get lifetime updates AND upgrades for this S/W? Never tried any of Iobit’s programs.

Thanks to you all guys. I’ve grabbed a 1-Year PRO license for Advanced SystemCare and will try it. I’ve used the free version previously and didn’t find it as effective as its alternatives. However, the PRO version seems more promising.

Another good find. I used ASC for a couple years until I got Glary utilities. ASC works very well and I have never had a problem with the registry cleaner. Those that DL ASC will be happy with it. I did DL the Easeus recovery because I needed it after my wife ended up deleting a ton of photos. It recovered them all with about 95% in original form. Good stuff.

Easus Partition Manager Pro requires only Windows operative systems ( 200, XP, Vista and Win 7 ) and supports only FAT and NTFS file systems. It does not support other operative systems and other file systems. So it is useless for Linux or other OS and file systems users. It allows you to resize, create, detete, format, explore, convert partitions and to copy disk and partitons on other disks and other partitions, but it does not allow you to build an imagebackup of disks or patitions. Moreover it doses not allow you to build a bootable recovery CD ( yes it promises so, but it does not fulfill the promise ) and I don’t think advisable trying to modify disks or partitions without a previous image-backup and without a good recovery bootable CD. If you use Paragon or Reflect free utilities you can treat other than Windows OS and file systems, you can build image-backup of your partitions and disks and you can build your recovery bootable CD.
