It seems we have “asked too much” in our Christmas promotion . Contributing to the first seven 4Free BestS survey was certainly too much for many 4Free readers, especially for the silent ones .

We know the problem was not the quality of the software (Glary Utilities Pro). “Fortunately” the same product was acclaimed a few days ago, on the GOTD.com giveaway.
And maybe you have noticed on a forum how for the same “guy” , “Glary from 4Free” was useless ( as software ) and ( 3 weeks later ) “Glary from GOTD” was like a “major event” . LOL !
We tell you from time to time about this stupid/comic situations, hoping that adult readers (and not only) will understand better why we will never allow sick “clone games” on 4Free. There are daily “smart” attempts but it’s out of the question to “surrender” the comments section (or 4Free-Community.com ) to this kind of web-crooks.
We’re very proud of the human quality on 4Free Community. We have this chance and honor to meet great friends everyday. Logically nobody likes to speak to clones of the same “fake gurus”. Keeping the web-hyenas away is the first condition for a healthy community. Unfortunately there are many forum-owners accepting compromises for a very materialistic traffic-exchange reason.
4Free is not a high-traffic site ( yet ) but more and more signs show we’re reputed as a “fair working community” and we must absolutely keep it like that.
Like we have always said : we can only obtain fair terms for software promotions if we prove we’re a solid community with a continuos , consistent and HONEST activity.

Wow. I was shocked at first with this announcement. I had thought that this giveaway would have been a “sold out” item here. Then I realized that not everyone here would choose to use it.

Hello guys,
personally I had a problem with taking ALL BestS surveys for one simple reason : there’s not really an easy way to know which survey was taken and which one wasn’t! That is, unless one keeps a tally of which ones were taken, which I doubt most of regular human beings do, the only way to know is to enter into each one of them and Ctrl F ones name and see if it is in there;p and try to remember the date of the last one taken. Check from time to time if there is any one new and take it before one forgets it is a new one.
But, besides this, no problem at all to share!!! tks guys!!

Just curious, what is the benefit of doing shared promotion on multiple sites? (PS: I am not questioning your approach, just trying to understand it.) By the way, I do not have any such website so cannot participate in this.

No, “fbcdn.net” is just the javascript for the 4Free Community Facebook widget you can see in the sidebar.
As for the benefits of doing shared promotions:
1. Rewarding the 4Free’ers owning a site and encouraging them to have a honest relation with 4Free … And not stupidly sneaking and trying to place links to their sites, like 2-3 “smart” bloggers are doing everyday ( under different usernames ).
2. Promoting the 4Free Community through friend-sites.
You have certainly understood there are only 10-20 % active 4Free’ers from the (otherwise) impressive amount of 4Free addicted readers ( IPs we see coming on 4Free on daily/weekly basis).
We do not ask for “excessive” activity from the actual friends. Be sure we can recognize when somebody is only trying to “look active” ( never your case, thank you !)
And maybe you agree there’s always place for new friends like you, Franck, Mayur, Seb, Nikola, fake91, Paul, etc … ( 100 + REAL continuously active 4Free’ers )
Bottom line: promoting 4Free Community, not with usual money-oriented tools ( link exchange, etc … ) BUT through a net of friends should not be a bad idea.

I like Glary utilities because it’s user-friendly,light and fast cleaning. One thing for sure is that the spyware removal is a n extra feature that we won’t get in Ccleaner.Besides cleaning computer, the tweaking options is easy and safe to use too.

Installation of Glary Pro was quick and easy. Automatically installed over the free version - no need to un-install prior to installation - which is a nuisance in some programs, such as Advanced Windows Care.

At my home, we have more than one PC, so after we got a key for the desktop [thanks!], we thought of trying for ONE more key for the laptop as there were extra keys left.
Nevertheless , it must be clarified that we are not in anyway connected with the ‘teenager-crook’ mentioned above. It could be that we have the same ISP. In fact, the error message that subscribers with the same ISP often get when downloading files : From sendspace – ‘If you are not already downloading, you are sharing your Internet connection with someone who is. You may be connected by shared IP.’ Smilar message from megaupload, etc.

hi…thanks to glary utilities for offering their pro version for free…thanks to 4 free and raju over at techpp for providing a way to get this license…i had been looking for another program to do some general maintenance after i dumped iobit advanced system care because of the charges that they had stolen a database from malwarebytes…odd that they never denied it but their spyware database dropped by about 40%…anyways, thanks for a great utility….harris

Thank you For-Free team for sending the Glary Utilities Pro Key. I have to test it for a long time. Then only i can comment on its efficiency. A few years back I used a free utility to clean my system and my system has crashed. Some other utilities proved inefficient and and failed to uninstall properly and want to stay back. So I was always using only those utilities that are well acclaimed for safe operation due to the risk involved in using them. Some of them are out of developent. Some newones have arrived into the scene. The windows also improved further to do automatic optimising itself whcih can cause the death of such utilities in future. But well improved and efficient utilities with better features can survive this change and continue their journey into future as before. Anyway thanks again for sending the key.

After having read so many other posts about people who are happy with Glary Utilities, I would certainly like a key as well. (I completed the 9 surveys last month.)

I do appreciate your site very much. I would enjoy it even more if you could find a method to keep the offer status up to date and clearly indicated. This Glary Utilities post is a good example. It still appears on the right hand menus under “Still Valid For Free” and nothing at the top of the page indicates that it has expired or closed. The expired/closed indicator should be at the top of the page just below the title, in whatever form you would like, a red highlight would be nice.
From time to time we update the list and move the outdated ones on the other list (”What you have missed”)
We just need time. Please remember we’re running this non-profit site in our free time … After our daily work and family life.

These comments are a long time coming (I won a key from 4Free in February). Anyway, I find Glary Utilities to have a very useful tool set. I won’t bore you with the precise features, as they’re available elsewhere on 4Free and at the Glary site. Note that I installed this on a new system so I did not require much “fixing” or tuning up so to speak. Nonetheless, Glary has kept my system running smoothly. Right now it is the only system utility I have installed. This is saying quite a lot because I usually overload with programs like this….probably to the detriment of my computer. Closing comment: I’ve had tremendous luck with Tuneup Utilities….I would say Glary is right up there in the same class.
