PCTools Desktop Maestro AND Spam Monitor - 4Free ( Australia + New Zealand only ?)

Two short notices:
1. First of all we hope everybody has read the update to O&O Defrag 11 Pro, where we are thanking Olavi - the one who was the first to notify a ( too tired ) 4Free Editor.
2. Like already explained in the last 2-3 articles, please contact us ( calmly 
) if you think you were qualified the email pre-notification for HF 50, and have not received it. But before, please make sure you have:
- shared your software giveaway wishes;
- AND taken all 9 ( nine ) 4Free BestS surveys;
- AND been active lately ( at least one comment in the last two weeks )

Surely not the best timing - releasing a HF on a Sunday evening - but that’s life ! This giveaways are anyway hard to get for other IPs but Australian or New Zealand ones … And all 4Free’ers know now that other opportunities will certainly occur.
Mayur has notified us about the PCTools giveaway for Spam Monitor … And the team is adding the similar giveaway for Desktop Maestro. Both promotions are for the latest versions !
Like announced in the title, the promotions are intended to Australian readers. We have understood that the IPs from New Zealand are accepted too.

PCTools stuff has many fans, as seen in different other found promotions. So why not ?!

Tried an Aussie, New Zealand, and a UK proxy with no luck.
Tried both IP proxies and web proxies.

I hope you have not tried the proxies already used by the Team, or by Mayur.
There are not many Australian proxies out there. That’s why we have announced it as a HF!

Its all good. I was just anxious to see how they stacked up. Not something I specifically needed. So I only tried a couple. Better to leave them for those who may actually need the software anyways. :).
I just do quite a bit of consulting work with PC software, hardware, and OC’ing and tend to try new things out.
I run my own email servers and use SpamBox and SpamAssassin sucessfully and got a fre license to Glary, which I now love, btw, awesome software and works very well.
So thanks anyways, great find, but I shall leave the proxies for those who may actually need the software. :).

I got the Glary Utilities Pro licenses here earlier that made me a happy man and together with CCleaner I’m in no need for this type of software.

It’s been a long time (at least ten years) since I’ve had any significant trouble with spam.
I’ve had about three different internet providers in that time, plus I have email accounts with Gmail and Yahoo! Mail. Very little spam ever reaches me: they all have excellent spam screeners at the server level.
I just assume this is standard procedure nowadays, and the need for these consumer spam catchers is diminishing.

I’ll pass this one though the both are definitely great tools. The Glary Utilities Pro I got here in 4free serves me very well which functions similarly to Desktop Maestro.

I too will pass on this one. I was able to get the Glary Utilities Pro software. Btw - I have not received the prenotification for HF50. I was notified for HF49 on the above email addy. Not trying to confuse you, but I took the surveys under the name of Geo Spar and the software giveaway under the name of Geo (I checked to make sure). I may have used several emails: XXX@hotmail.com, XXXs@hotmail.com. To avoid future confusion - I am going to use Geo and the email addy above. I hope you can combine them all - if you can’t let me know and I will repost them under one name. So sorry for the confusion.

I really like PC Tools products, but couldn’t find an Australian proxy that would work. Can’t win them all.

Needs a proxy from a land of Down Under otherwise I can’t register and without it program is basically useless

I have tried with 3 proxies and they were all already taken.:(
No biggie, I have Glary Utilities Pro.
Didn’t get any proxies to work either.
But, as a comment to the program (trial-version, of course), I am not too impressed.
PCTools Desktop Maestro:
- First, after installing, it started cleaning right away. No questions. Just started cleaning, closed my crome-browser, deleted all history etc. I would like to CHOSE whether to start a cleaning or not, and what to clean. This was not good.
- After the (involuntary) cleaning, it did not even TRY to clean my opera-history. And it did seem to me like it had the ability to clean some other browsers I had not even heard of.
And after seeing this, I stopped looking for proxies
I was able to get the Glary Utilities Pro and also use CCleaner so I’ll let others get a proxy for these. I find that I don’t need to get everything just because it’s free, but I do enjoy taking advantage of the software that I really need. Thanks.

Not valid for my region either.
I have tried PC Tools products in the past. All their products are subscriptions based for a year, even with their registry cleaner. I think there are better options with other similar products on offer elsewhere.
As far as I know from past experience, their promotions all have the same license code if you register for one.
